Project Sienna: Grade II Listed Master Suite Renovation
Emma and Jon were struggling to create a master suite that felt worthy of their beautiful Grade II Listed Georgian home. Cold colours, awkward spaces and dated updates had left their bedroom, dressing room and ensuite feeling uninviting and disconnected from the rest of their home.
They turned to our Full Works service to create a warm, restful oasis that respected the character of their home while feeling modern and personal to them.
What we did

Briefing & Concept
In our initial briefing, Emma and Jon shared their frustration with a cold, disconnected master suite, awkward layouts and unusual1960s updates.
They had ideas for how they wanted the space to feel, but struggled to pull everything together into a cohesive scheme. They had reached the point where they simply didn’t want to spend time in there.
We refined the layouts and developed a rich, autumnal concept using natural textures, traditional detailing and contemporary touches.
This concept set the tone and direction for the whole design.

Design Development
In the master bedroom, we celebrated the Georgian architecture with reintroduced coving and beaded panelling. Warm neutral walls, a rich rust velvet bed and oak furniture create an opulent yet calming feel, with earthy green accents adding depth and bringing the scheme to life.
In the ensuite, traditional panelling is paired with a contemporary bath and bold checkerboard flooring. A soft landscape mural brings Emma’s love of murals into the space in a modern way, while green accents, Zellige tiles and natural materials add texture and tie the scheme together.
The finished design brought together everything Emma and Jon loved, creating the warm, characterful feel they had been missing.

Project Management
Once the design was signed off, we took care of all the details from start to finish. Coordinating trades, ordering materials, site visits and keeping Emma and Jon updated throughout.
With everything managed for them on-site, they could step back from the process and enjoy watching their master suite take shape without the usual stress.

The Results
Emma and Jon now have a master suite that feels warm, cohesive and at home within their listed Georgian property.
Original-style detailing, rich colour, natural textures and contemporary touches have transformed the once dated spaces, while the bedroom, dressing room and ensuite now work together as one cohesive scheme.
The result is a characterful, inviting suite that feels both timeless and personal to them.

The Impact
For Emma and Jon, the biggest change is how the space now fits into their everyday lives. They no longer have a master suite that feels like an unfinished project hanging over them.
Instead, it feels like their own private hotel suite, luxurious and inviting, but completely personalised to them. A place to close the door on the busyness of the day, unwind after work or curl up with a cup of coffee on a Saturday morning.
Most importantly, it has become a space they genuinely look forward to spending time in.
